Michelle Kotowski: A Commitment to Compassionate Advocacy
Michelle’s professional life is an expression of her deep commitment to people. With 35 years in human services, she has a long history of supporting community members through life’s most serious transitions—ensuring that dignity is always maintained. Whether volunteering for the Burnaby Hospice Society or helping individuals navigate complex systems, Michelle’s work is driven by the belief that every person deserves to be seen, heard, and respected.
The name Red Cedar Tree of Life signifies a deep connection to nature. Inspired by the red cedar’s strong, practical role in the Indigenous community, it represents the shelter and support Michelle provides to families navigating the complexities of future care and planning.
